Radan to Radbend

Based on the ACIS solid modelling kernel, Radan 3D is a high performance and versatile 3D modelling package which is fully integrated with Radbend. Using the Radan 3D you can seemlessly and effortlessly take your 3D model and associated information into Radbend for intelligent and efficient data transfer.

Taking your part from Radan 3D into Radbend couldn't be more straightforward. Once you are satisfied with your design simply click on the Radbend icon and your part and associated information gets transported into Radbend.

Once your part has transferred from Radan 3D to Radbend you will be able to:

  • Select the most appropriate machine tool.
  • Automatically select the appropriate tools to bend the part correctly
  • Provide you with consequences of your tool set up - expected radius, press depth etc
  • Automatically position finger stops against every valid face requiring fingerstops.
  • Automatically generates complete shopfloor documentation, including setup sheets.

As all this is happening offline and within minutes your press brake is free to continue doing what it does best, bending sheet metal!

The short video below will demonstrate a part being taken from Radan into Radbend and the process that follows.
