SolidWorks to Radbend

SolidWorks is a powerful 3D design solution for rapid creation of parts, assemblies and 2D drawings. This can be fully integrated with Radbend.

Utilising the Radbend Plug- in, taking your part from SolidWorks, Standard, Professional or Premium couldn’t be more straightforward.Once you are happy with your design simply click on the Radbend icon and your drawing and associated files are seamlessy transferred into Radbend

Once your part has transferred from SolidWorks to Radbend you will be able to:

• Select which machine tool you wish to use
• Automatically select the appropriate tools to bend the material correctly
• Provide you with consequences of your tool set up - expected radius, press depth etc
• Automatically position finger stops against every valid face requiring fingerstops.
•  Run a full 3D simulation of the process detecting and advising of any collisions and potential problems.
•  Automatically generates complete shopfloor documentation, including setup sheets.

As all this is happening offline and within minutes your press brake is free to continue doing what it does best, bending sheet metal!
