Features

To ensure maximized material utilization and production efficiency Radnest has a number of advanced features including:

High level automation

  • Radnest co-ordinates the cutting sequence and post processing operations to produce programs automatically.
  • Parts can be tooled appropriately at different orientations and removed from the nest e.g. by a part pick operation.
  • The manufacturing database helps to capture and store your manufacturing expertise for future use.
  • Enables switching production between machines.
  • Flexible nest editing with ‘bump’ nesting and schedule integration.

Highly efficient nesting

  • High performance nesting algorithm analyses true shape of parts to be nested and fits as many parts as possible onto the sheet
  • Adjustable nesting processing time
  • Whilst allowing maximum use of material, minimum bridge is maintained between parts to ensure sheet strength

Testimonials

As we're constantly improving the way we work we expect teething problems when we try something completely new, but it's extremely comforting to know that Radan support has always been able to get things done very quickly -- usually within hours, and never later than the next day.
