RADAN Minimum System Requirements

The following specifications will allow the software to install and run, however as you can see the requirements are low compared to PC's that are in common use. To ensure your PC can perform, it is always best to exceed the hardware specifications.

RADAN | CAD/CAM

  • Windows 10 or 11 - 64 bit:
    • Only Professional versions supported.
  • Graphics board supporting OpenGL 3.3 :
    • Minimum 1920 x 1080 resolution.
    • Supporting at least 65,000 colours.
  • 4 GB of RAM.

RADAN | CAD/CAM WITH 3D / Radbend

  • Windows 10 or 11 - 64 bit.
  • Graphics: 512 MB + onboard RAM.
  • AMD Radeon Pro series or the NVIDIA RTX/Quadro series with latest WHQL drivers.
  • 32 GB of RAM.
  • SSD Hard Disk.

Supported Operating systems

  • Windows® 10, Windows 11
  • Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022
  • We may require the latest service packs to be installed
  • ONLY 64bit versions are supported, Professional / Business versions of the operating systems are recommended

 

 

Important Note

  • Microsoft will end support for Windows 10 in October 2025. Hexagon’s Production Software will officially support Windows 10 for the supported life of the 2025 product releases; 2026 onward releases will not officially support these platforms. Please consider updating your operating system to make sure you are running your favourite software on a tested and supported platform.

Additional Notes

  • Software and subsequent can be downloaded from the Customer Portal.
  • Customers must present the RADAN engineer with a pre-configured system if they are purchasing RADAN's installation service. For networked applications, the responsibility for the networking will be with the customer.
  • Application performance is dependent upon several factors e.g., Number of used applications or network traffic. Should you require further clarification, please contact your IT provider.

  • RADAN 2022.0 was the last version to support Windows 7 and Windows 8.1
  • RADAN 2017 CADCAM is supplied in 64bit. There is a lightweight 32bit version that allows RADAN to run (DNC/2DCADCAM ONLY), limitations apply for importing data.
  • RADAN 2016 CADCAM was the last release to fully support 32bit Operating systems
